summer surf

Has anyone been recently, im feeling a bit out of touch as its been a few weeks since I have been to hells mouth. Although the weather has been spot on the surf doesnt look like its been up to much…jase?

today looks nice although small, it could be worth a trip soon. I am really starting to miss the odd weekly road trip down to abersoch. Once surf is good, and the weather is good, and we have a weekend planned and put a side any other responsibilities, then i might stand a chance of a visit. It is always going to be the perfect weekend of doing very little, apart from surfing…drinking…and eating! who ever said you need to leave the UK for a cheeky weekend break!!!

    hi rach hope your well, i went surfing yesterday morning 11th june, left my house at 5am got in the surf at 7am had quite a good session nice waist high waves.there may be some small waves this weekend probably sunday (pm) towards high tide.Iam staying the night at hells mouth just in case.hope too see you in the water again.say hello to ally ba ba.

    thats ace…i need to work out a way to get down there pretty sharpish…the price of petrol is not good when you have to drive it on your own. so im on the hunt for a new surfing buddy…hope to see you before my birthday! x

    Hi,

    I am a regular surfer to the north wales coast line and in Jan 08 I had a serious accident at whistling sands. My fin on my longboard severed the inside of my thigh and I lost 3 and a half pints of blood. If it wasn’t for the Air Ambulance I would have died on the beach.

    So I am organising a charity walk up Snowdon on August 16th and after that there is a garden party at the Ramada Hotel in Chester.

    The plan is to get at least 100 sponsored walkers up Snowdon and back!!! and then to have a Hog Roast Bar B Q in the evening with a charity auction and entertianment until early hours of Sunday!

    I am hoping some of your readers would be interested in joining us to raise money for a well needed charity. Also it would be a great opportunity to socialise with other North West Surfers!

    Also as I mentioned I am a regular to Hells Mouth and I find the price of fuel expensive. So I would be happy to share cars and the fuel bill!

    Hi Rach,
    We usually surf at hells mouth - depending on weather we get out there once every few weeks - takes us about 2 hours from wirral.
    We just got back from a week in Newquay - we were out twce a day and we’re getting withdrawal already.

    Fingers crossed for the weekend that we get some devent waves - maybe a trip in order on sunday!

    had a great couple of days surfing on the 14th & 15th of june nice waist high clean waves and sunny weather at high tide on sunday night and I saw 2 dolphins i also got my pic on west coasts surf report on monday morning with waist high glassy waves but you cant tell its me cos iam paddling out.(i know it was me cos i was the only one out early…) so hopefully youll see it on todays surf report.Back in the surf on friday probably as the charts dont look bad. see you soon Jase
